Aveanna’s ABA services provide children with the strategies and skills necessary to maximize their individual potential, achieve meaningful outcomes, and reach their goals to the greatest extent possible. These services also provide parents with useful strategies and techniques to support their child’s progress towards meeting developmental milestones in communication and behavior throughout their lifetime.
Twenty years of experience working one-to-one with DC Metro area students with learning disabilities and ADHD, emotional/psychological disorders, as well as students of average and above average academic capabilities. Classroom teaching experience, both in public and private schools, and other privately owned academic settings including educational diagnostic agencies which provide testing for learning disability accommodations, SAT/ACT accommodations, gifted status and admissions qualification.
Adam A. Johnson M.Ed. provides specialized private tutoring, academic coaching, and advocacy for Northern VA students and families. He has worked extensively throughout the area with students of all ages in nearly every subject area. He specializes working with students with learning disabilities, but works with students of all types and learning profiles.
We help parents and caregivers have productive conversations when they get stuck, especially when important decisions affecting their families with neurodiversity, learning differences, and special needs are at issue. We provide a process that allows them to hear each other and be heard, so that they can align and stay-in-step on solutions that work for them and their families, to resolve conflicts.
