DESCRIPTION:  \nDepartment of Medical Assistance (Virginia Medicaid) presents on topics important to dual eligible enrollees – DMAS staff will present on topics important to dual eligible enrollees (enrolled in both Medicaid and Medicare). Topics will include an introduction to how someone becomes dually eligible and the types of dual eligible enrollees\, Medicare enrollment options and the impact to Medicaid Waiver services\, Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans\, and a change to Medicaid health plan enrollment that is coming January\, 1\, 2025 and that will impact some dual eligible enrollees.
