DESCRIPTION:  \nNavigating the diagnostic assessment process can feel overwhelming\, especially when families are unsure where to begin. This presentation will help families understand when a comprehensive evaluation may be appropriate\, the different pathways to obtaining an assessment\, and what to expect throughout the evaluation process. We will discuss community-based\, hospital-based\, and private practice evaluation options\, as well as waiver programs and other community resources available to individuals with developmental disabilities.
