2021 Virginia Primary Season Candidate Forum Series
The Arc of Northern Virginia and the Autism Society of Northern Virginia are proud to present this year’s spring Candidate Forums. This year, the Republican Party of Virginia will select their candidates for state-wide office this fall at a nominating convention, scheduled for Saturday, May 8, 2021. The Democratic Party of Virginia will hold a state-wide primary election on Tuesday, June 8th to select their candidates.
We are grateful to the candidates who made themselves available, and the campaign staffers who worked with us to make the often complicated arrangements. These meetings are rare opportunities to hear the candidates speak and to answer your questions about the future of disability services and supports in Virginia. They spoke about their beliefs, their plans for the future of our state, and their goals to help individuals with disabilities.
