DESCRIPTION:  \nWhether you are a first-time rider or simply want to increase your knowledge of safety and public transit\, these travel experiences are for you. The Tech for Independent Living (TFIL) team hosts ongoing metro and bus trips designed for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These outings help participants build confidence\, independence\, and knowledge about traveling in the community.These trips simplify an overwhelming concept by turning them into an enjoyable group outing where everyone feels empowered. These in-person travel training events are FREE to attend and include SmarTrip cards\, but pre-registration is required.  \n  \nWednesday\, April 29th – Huntington to Potomac Yard\, 11 AM – 2 PM Participants will meet at Huntington Metrorail Station and take the Yellow Line to Potomac Yard. They can either bring their own lunch or purchase food at Giant. After enjoying a picnic together\, participants will return to Huntington Metrorail Station. \n  \n\n					\n				Register Now
