SUMMARY:Transition Parents Support Group: The Family Village (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Arc of Northern Virginia’s Transition Support group is now meeting every month\, with alternating in-person and virtual events. Meetings provide a forum to share resources\, ask questions\, and be surrounded and supported by families who understand the thrills and challenges of navigating life with a disability. \nOriginally conceived as a support group for parents whose kids were facing the challenges of life after leaving school\, the group has expanded to embrace any  parent or family member who needs advice\, education or simply a place to share with others who are in the same boat. \nThere are occasional guest speakers who provide information about topics of interest. The group is led by Rob Hudson\, Digital Communications Manager and Frank Trippett Advocacy and Outreach Fellow.
