Attendees will have the opportunity to: \n\nLearn how and when to call 911 and what to expect during the call\nPractice Hands-Only CPR techniques\nGain practical tips for safe and positive interactions with police and first responders\nParticipate in interactive demonstrations with fire\, rescue\, and law enforcement personnel\nPick up a free Blue Envelope to help disclose a disability during a traffic stop or emergency\n\nWhy this matters:\nPeople with disabilities experience violent victimization at nearly four times the rate of people without disabilities\, according to the U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics. Research also shows that a significant portion of challenging police incidents involve individuals with disabilities.
