The People’s Filibuster rally originally scheduled for Tuesday, July 18 has been canceled. Over the weekend, Senate Majority Leader McConnell announced a delay on the vote on the Better Care Reconciliation Act.
While the Senate won’t vote this week, they are still working on this legislation that will drastically cut and cap the Medicaid program, harming the home and community based services people with intellectual and developmental disabilities rely on to live independent lives.
