Local businesses help The Arc of Northern Virginia by hosting fundraising events for our benefit. Each event is different and gives you a chance to enjoy a meal, meet our staff, members, and board of directors, all while supporting us.
The Arc of Northern Virginia will be posting trainings and workshops geared toward disability professionals in the community.
We reach out to the business community to educate about The Arc of Northern Virginia’s programs and services and other disability issues.
The Arc of Northern Virginia is a member of The Falls Church Chamber of Commerce, Greater Merrifield Business Association and the Tyson’s Regional Chamber of Commerce.
At River Creek Country Club, 43800 Olympic Blvd., Leesburg, VA 20176, is presented by The Rotary Club of Dulles International Airport. Since its inception, this event has raised more than $500,000 for local charities dedicated to helping make a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities. The Tournament supports The Arc of Northern Virginia, Every Citizen Has Opportunities (ECHO), ServiceSource and The Arc of Loudoun at Paxton Campus.

The 40th Annual Corporate and Community Team Challenge 8K &1M and 2M walk, will be held April 29, 2018 at Burke Lake Park. Registration for runners. walkers, sponsors, and donors.
Tia Marsili, Director of Trusts, will presents to families, siblings and adults with disabilities or others interested in learning about special needs trusts and other tools to consider when developing a plan for the future.
Wings for All is designed to alleviate some of the stress that families who have a child with a disability experience when traveling by air. The program provides families with the opportunity to practice entering the airport, obtain boarding passes, go through security and board a plane. Wings for All also gives airport, airline, Transportation Security Administration professionals and other personnel the opportunity to observe, interact and deliver their services in a structured, learning environment.
The Arc of Northern Virginia is an information and referral source for families and professionals. To keep families up-to-date on advocacy issues and provide information on disability issues we host and sponsor many educational seminars and workshops throughout the year.
