Presented by The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham
Organized by The Arc of Northern Virginia
Online Citizenship is how we socialize with other people online, which can sometimes be confusing and unsafe. This virtual class, sponsored by AT&T, will be led by Hiesun Ho from the Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham. Throughout the course Hiesun will discuss what it means to be an online citizen, how to be safe when socializing online, avoiding common scams, and identifying true or false information on the internet. This course is open to participants of all ages who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. It is designed for people interested in becoming independent in their online interactions.
