Benefit Breakfast
The Arc of Northern Virginia’s A Life Like Yours Benefit Breakfast is an annual event that raises critical funding required to provide information, education, direct support services, and advocacy to meet the needs of the 39,000 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all ages and their families in Northern Virginia.
Community Challenge
Held annually at Burke Lake Park, The Arc of Northern Virginia’s Community Challenge brings together companies and the community to raise important funds to sustain and strengthen its vital programs, services, and advocacy for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all ages and their families. For 47 years, this has been Northern Virginia’s premier corporate and community challenge foot race and the area’s only team based race with teams of 5-7 runners.
Annual Gala
Our annual Gala helps raise important funds that help make possible all of our programs, services, and advocacy education for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all ages and their families. This special event brings together hundreds of community members, elected officials, and leaders in the business and philanthropic communities, alongside our longstanding supporters and partners.

Each month, we meet on Zoom to dive into one of the app’s lessons, offering a chance to connect with others in a friendly, social setting. It’s the perfect opportunity to engage, share thoughts, and learn together how Arc2Independence can help you.
