In 2016, Jemicy School in Owings Mills, MD became the first school in the country to be accredited by the International Dyslexia Association (IDA). The school enrolls approximately 361 students on two campuses and maintains a 4-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio, with small classes ranging from 2 to 12 students. The Lower and Middle School serves students in grades 1-8; the Upper School serves students in grades 9-12, as well as students in the Upper School Prep Program. 275 students. $26,850. Ungraded for bright dyslexic students in 1st-12th grades. The School now features a prep class for students entering high School who need an additional year to learn organizational strategies and study skills.
