Our Stomping Ground (OSG) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting adults with developmental disabilities so they can live meaningful lives outside of their family or a group home. Their work empowers people with developmental disabilities to live in inclusive apartment communities where they have engagement with their fellow residents, communities, and businesses to maximize independence and empowerment. They serve individuals with and without Medicaid Waivers, and with a range of support needs.
Our Stomping Ground is kindly inviting people with disabilities and their support networks come see an example of their work in action. This tour and Q&A session will be held at their Ovation at Arrowbrook property in Herndon. Join in to see part of an inclusive art lesson, tour apartments used by some of the residents, and ask questions about this innovative support model.
Remember, all of our workshop and webinar events are FREE to attend, but pre-registration is required.
