On the evening of October 5th, the Tech for Independent Living team welcomed their program’s current users and local partners to join them in celebrating the launch of their new app, Arc2Independence. The team set up a testing area of devices where attendees could check out the app and explore lessons.

The team was joined by Familyworks, the developers who built out the app, who traveled from Arkansas and Charlotte to demonstrate the app’s functions such as hosting both general and custom virtual lessons, goal setting abilities, and check for understanding quizzes.

Thank you to our grantors who make this program possible for us, and to Celebrate Fairfax who’s Digital Inclusion Community Grant helped make the launch party a success.
