Support Our Work

Give the gift of inclusion

Each gift The Arc of Northern Virginia receives supports the opportunity for someone with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD) to pursue a life that is meaningful to them. With your help, we can continue to to provide advocacy and high quality, life-changing supports to individuals with IDD –of all ages, in all stages — and their families.

Your dedication to our mission, our values, and people with IDD is the reason we can continue to sustain and grow our programs, even as we continue to advocate for people with IDD so that they are provided the opportunity to live, work, and play to their fullest potential.

With your support, The Arc of Northern Virginia is leading the fight for equality and inclusion, empowering people to live the lives they want, and inspiring a movement of advocates. With your help, we grow stronger.

Together, we create a more inclusive community.

Donate Stock

The donation of appreciated securities is an excellent way to make a significant impact. You may receive a charitable income tax donation for the fair market value of the gifted securities, increasing the value for your gift and decreasing the cost to you. You may also avoid any capital gains tax you would have paid had you sold the appreciated securities and donated the proceeds to us. Contact Howard Stregack for more information.
