Please email your state Senator TODAY with the following message about the Senate version of the state budget bill (SB900):

OPPOSE Item 306 #14s:  Plan to develop “cost sharing” requirements for families receiving Medicaid long-term care services (including Waivers)A Life Like Yours sticker

OPPOSE Item 284 #6s:  Plan to Keep Central Virginia Training Center Open

Why is it critically important that you act NOW?

Tomorrow afternoon,  February 9, 2017, members of the Senate of Virginia and the Virginia House of Delegates will debate and vote on their own proposed budget bills.  If you don’t want your Senator to support items that are potentially harmful to people with developmental disabilities and their families, he/she needs to hear from you right away!

What do you need to do?

  1. PF, I just posted some more information about the state advocacy needed. Don’t stop! Keep those calls and emails up. We need you and everyone to send our legislators a message.
