More Advocacy
The state advocacy work usually runs December-March, tied to when our General Assembly meets.  From May-November, we offer to meet with our state representatives in the homes of families in this area.  Please let me know if you’d like to talk about hosting one of these meetings.

Every month we share a story with legislators from a family impacted by Waiver.  It is usually someone on the waiting list, but we’ve shared Waiver success stories, Waiver ineligibility stories, and more.  Let me know if you’d like to work with me on writing one!

Lastly, we have planned   meetings with the rest of the Gubernatorial candidates.  Our first meeting was with Lt. Governor Ralph Northam
on Sunday April 9th at a  private residence. The Response was great with 30+ people in attendance.  We welcome you to join us and talk to potential Governor’s about needs in Virginia.
